In the heart of Florence, just a few steps from Santa Maria Novella Station, the spaces of Atelier Alinari Rooms preserve an important part of the history of Italian photography.
It was here, in the second half of the nineteenth century, that the experience of the Alinari Brothers took shape, one of the most significant photographic enterprises in Europe at the time.
For over a century, images, archives, and visions have passed through these spaces, turning them into a place deeply connected to the city’s visual memory.
